The Thermal Array Display (TAD) is a device developed as part of my ongoing PhD in multi-modal research. It is worn on the arm and can display patterns of warm, cool, and neutral temperatures. My research demonstrates that using multiple stimulators makes it easier for users to perceive the thermal signal. I am currently investigating how using this technology can augment emotions and change user behavior.
