WELCOME TO MY SITE OF STRANGE AND WONDERFUL THINGS
ABOUT ME
I am a Human-Computer Interaction academic working at the intersection of HCI with multisensory communication interfaces, wearable technology, and mixed reality. I received my PhD (2018) from City, University of London and my Masters (2012) from Carnegie Mellon University, in Entertainment Technology. My PhD thesis focused on multi-modal communication using olfaction, mechanoreception, thermoception, and their effect on emotion and user behaviour. My work has appeared in major media outlets such as Wired, CBS News, and Newsweek.
